Frequently asked questions
Wrapped panels or a stretched-fabric wall — which should I choose?
Factory-wrapped panels suit modular layouts, demountable panels and phased fit-outs. A site-stretched fabric system covers long and curved walls in one continuous plane with no visible panel joints, because the track, not a panel module, sets out the wall.
What thickness do the panels come in?
Wrapped panels are offered at 25 mm or 50 mm nominal, confirmed at submittal. A thicker absorber core, or an air gap behind it, extends absorption towards lower frequencies; we set the build-up against the room's use.
Do you supply only, or supply and install?
We supply and install under one contract: panels or track, infill and fabric, fixings, trims and accessories, and the installation. The substrate wall, blocking for heavy wall-mounted fixtures and MEP coordination are by others.
What do you need to price an acoustic wall?
Wall elevations or a plan with the wall lengths and heights to be treated, the substrate, the room's use, and any doors, screens or sockets to work around. A BOQ is enough if you already have one.
How are fabric walls cleaned?
Vacuum the face with a soft brush attachment and spot-clean following the guidance for the fabric selected. Do not wet-clean, steam or apply solvents.
